Agreement
By creating an account or using BoredMate, you agree to these Terms of Use. BoredMate helps people coordinate casual nearby activities. Chat, profiles, and activities are user-generated content.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
BoredMate has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not harass, threaten, hate, sexually exploit, scam, spam, impersonate, share illegal content, or otherwise abuse other people. We may remove content, restrict or terminate accounts, and report serious abuse to authorities.
Community rules
- Be respectful and lawful.
- Do not pressure anyone to meet or share private information.
- Meet only in public places for first meetups.
- Use report and block tools if something feels wrong.
Report and block
BoredMate provides in-app tools to flag objectionable content and to block abusive users. Blocking removes that person from your feed and chats immediately. Reporting immediately hides related content, ejects the offending user from discovery, and notifies the developer. We act on objectionable content reports within 24 hours by removing content and ejecting the user who provided it.
Content filtering
BoredMate filters objectionable language, spam-like text, and private contact solicitation in activities and chat before content is posted.
Safety
You are responsible for your own choices, safety, and conduct. BoredMate does not guarantee that users are safe, available, or truthful.
No warranty
BoredMate is provided as-is. Features may change, fail, or be removed as the product improves.
